The Olympics were awesome - coming in 3rd was pretty cool, and the gold medal count being a record for any hosting nation is too. The energy in the air was, well, err... un-Canadian (we tend to be so self effacing). I have never seen so many Canadian flags waving on buildings, in people's hands, and just about everywhere. It is good. I think we finally took a page in pride and patriotism from our very good southern friends :-) Carlos – yes, we’re back!

I find it amusing. So we have you back now? Hoorah for us! I am NOT ready for daily posting. I'm hoping just to up my posts to 3 a week, with one of those being "snackable" in size, though that's not an official goal yet. I can't ever seem to write anything less than 1000 words, and usually quite a bit longer than that, so keeping them brief is more of a challenge than anything.
