Good point re blog subject matter and frequency of post … also, consistency I believe is a factor as well, so that if you publish once weekly, but consistently then both the readers and search engines are geared up for it. Good to hear that the traffic keeps increasing, obviously the content is good and the search engine spiders love the weekly buffet

Hi Valentina,
I suppose the answer “it depends” can also relate to the subject matter of a blog. Some subjects do lend themselves better to regular daily posts than others.

At the moment I probably only post once per week which is not ideal. But my traffic continues to grow regardless. So maybe when it plateaus off I will have to look at upping the post rate.

Your blog is impressive and I don’t think it lacks traffic although more is always good and with an ebook in the pipeline there is no such thing as too much traffic or readers.

I post 2 times a week because my content is long and heavy to read ussually, but you’ve got me thinking I should try building up a healthy stash of “snackables”, as Doolin refers to them, and see if I could generate 2 or 3 a week to up my posting. They could be foreshadows of in depth posts to come in some cases.

It might be too much with the ebook I am working on and my 9-6 but on the other hand it could help grow my readership and increase sales of the ebook…allowing me to drop the 9-6 sooner.

Now look what you’ve done Valentina. Yours is a dangerous blog to read…it makes me want to work more.

I’m sorry about you losing your comment over on my blog. But, this post is great, so I can’t be too sorry

Anyways, I love what you have to say and how you break everything down. It is a tough subject with no real definite true answer, but I think what it really comes down to is what we already concluded – it depends.

Quality is very subjective, and so is quantity for that matter.
